Recording Artists

Propinquity - Pat Hubbard's second band!

Jitensha - singers/songwriters Erin Rose Hubbard and David Martinez play their unique brand of music.

Beans Sousa - singer/songwriter, Beans Sousa. Beans, Annie, Pat Hubbard, Jimmy Norris, and Gary Roda were all members of Santa Cruz's own Fly By Night in the 1970s.

Boy Meets Girl - singers/songwriters Shannon Rubicam and George Merrill. George and Pat co-produced two songs on Annie's "I Wanna Live" album, "Girandola" and "Angel" and both George and Shannon provided backup vocals on those and other tunes. They wrote "How Will I know?" and "I Wanna Dance with Somebody," both huge hits for the late Whitney Houston. They scored a hit with their own "Waiting for a Star to Fall." Their song "I Know You By Heart" was recorded by Smokey Robinson and Dolly Parton and also featured in the movie Beaches with Bette Midler and Tom Parks singing the duette.

Wally Barnick - singer/bass player. Wally recorded Annie's "Rocks Beneath the Water" on his "View from Laffler Canyon" album.

Joyce Woodson - singer/songwriter. Joyce recorded at Pat Hubbard's Hub Studios in the 1980s. Joyce received the Songwriter of the Year award for 2014 from the Western Music Association. She received the Will Rogers AWA Award for Best Performer and Best Song of the Year in 2008 for "If I hadn't Seen the West."

Lacy J. Dalton - singer/songwriter. Pat Hubbard and Annie worked for Lacy as both touring and session musicians. Lacy recorded Annie's "Me 'n' You" and Pat co-wrote "Dixie Devil" with Lacy.

Phoebe Snow - singer/songwriter. Annie was fortunate to join Phoebe for some backup vocals at a live Lacy J. Dalton concert in Santa Cruz. Phoebe's voice and musical instincts were both phenomenal.

Larry Hosford - singer/songwriter. Pat Hubbard and Annie worked as both session and touring musicians with Larry in the 1980s. Annie sang the choruses on "Nobody Remembers the Losers" and did a duette with Larry on "If I Could Talk As Fast As I think."

Mastering

Airshow Mastering - A great mastering studio in Boulder, Colorado.

Instruments

Wildwood Guitars - guitars in every brand and price range.

Starr's Guitars - unique and interesting guitars and mandolins of all sorts.

Woodsong's Lutherie - excellent repair work. These folks saved Pat's Dad's old potato back mandolin and my sweet touring Takamine, "Cheerful." I though she was a goner and, turns out, she was just thirsty.

Recording Equipment

Wind Over the Earth - recording equipment and software.
